As Palm Springs Plating enters its 48th year serving the national plumbing, door hardware, and architectural finishing industries, I’m proud to reflect on how far we’ve come — and excited about where we’re headed.
Our success has always rested on two pillars: lasting partnerships and environmental responsibility. Both remain at the center of everything we do.
Over the past several years, we’ve made significant investments in expanding our finishing capabilities. Beyond our core brass, copper, and nickel plating, we now offer trivalent chrome for RoHS-compliant decorative finishes, antimicrobial copper plating for health-conscious applications, and PVD coating preparation — precision surface finishing engineered to meet the exacting color and adhesion specifications demanded by today’s top luxury fixture brands.
PSP is at its best on precision finishing programs: specialty finishes, tight color and surface requirements, and high-mix work where craftsmanship matters. Our clients include Fortune 500 manufacturers in the plumbing and architectural hardware space, and we hold ourselves to their standards every day. That means rigorous quality control, CIELAB color-matched finishes, and full compliance with AQMD air quality regulations — because protecting our community and environment is non-negotiable.
We are a small, specialized shop structured for high-mix, medium-volume work. We excel at tight-tolerance specialty finishes across a wide variety of part geometries and substrate combinations.
